"THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE LITTLE SCROLL"

The name of our newsletter, "The Little Scroll," carries profound biblical significance. In Revelation 10, John witnesses a mighty angel holding a little scroll (or book) open in his hand. When commanded to take and eat this scroll, John finds it sweet as honey in his mouth but bitter in his stomach.

This powerful imagery represents the dual nature of God's Word—sweet in its promises of redemption and bitter in its pronouncements of judgment. As a messianic community, we embrace both aspects of Scripture, finding comfort in God's promises while soberly accepting His call to righteousness.

The angel tells John, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings." Similarly, our congregation stands as a prophetic voice, declaring biblical truth to a world that desperately needs to hear it.

Through this newsletter, we aim to share messages that, like the little scroll, may sometimes challenge but ultimately nourish those who receive them. We invite you to "take and eat"—to digest these teachings and allow them to transform your understanding and faith.
