ARTICLE 2: "AGAPE IN ACTION: SERVING THE LEAST OF THESE"

Our National Agape Gift Bag & Sock Ministry continues to demonstrate Christ's love in tangible ways throughout our community. Last month, our dedicated Agape Warriors distributed 60 gift bags containing essential items to homeless individuals in the Washington, DC area.

"When we hand someone a pair of clean socks, we're doing more than meeting a physical need," explains Janice Euell, VP of Agape Ministry. "We're showing them they matter—that they haven't been forgotten."

The ministry now operates in seven states through chapter directors who coordinate local distribution efforts. To date, we've distributed over 2,100 gift bags containing more than 21,000 items to those in need.

Our 8-Point Empowerment Behavioral Modification Model continues to guide our approach, addressing not just immediate needs but also providing tools for long-term transformation. From conflict resolution to financial literacy, we're equipping individuals with skills that can help break cycles of homelessness.
